I make one-of-a-kind, wearable art jackets and quality, handmade garments. I am an artist and have been sewing for as long as I can remember. My jackets and art quilts are my own original designs and everything I have for sale here is handmade by me.
I have spent a lot of time perfecting techniques like seamless, bias binding and dying my own lightweight, cotton fabrics. I also like to repurpose fabric and keep a large collection of vintage garments, fabric and notions. I hand sew and practice techniques like "paper-piecing" this produces my favorite "style" of fiber art with the handmade character of an old piece. I like antique quilts with that soft, wrinkly, thin fabric and batting. I do a lot of hand-stitching and hand finishing of hems and binding, this assures a high-quality garment.
